quitting my job tomorrow. -sobs- i've enjoyed working at the clinic. everyone is really nice there. im so gonna miss it. hope i dont get too emo tomorrow. heh.
on another note. i had no idea that wang dongcheng and the rest of farenheight have blogs! damn, am i swagu or what man. my colleague jieying just told me today. she was appalled that i didn't know. haha. she is the absolute expert on farenheight (having been to their autograph sessions and touched their hands! -shrieks- which she constantly reminds me everyday on purpose). anyway, do visit wang dongcheng and wuzhun's blogs (rollover for link). just to salivate over the pictures, if for nothing else. -grins- however be reminded it is in chinese so reading it might be abit of a struggle for people like me.

sabrina i am gonna kill you. tagging game my ass! -grins-

6 wierd things (that people may or may not already know about me):
1. i am such an avid reader that if i dont finish a book within the day i will not fall asleep. there have been times when i've read all through the night until daybreak.
2. ever since watching the movie resident evil, i am extremely paranoid about zombies and anyone that looks sleepy or has an expressionless face seems like a zombie to me. i might accidentally scream if i mistake you for one.
3. i like to eat peanut butter out of the jar. i just take a spoon and scoop it out. yummy! dont spread it on anything! it tastes better without. i can finish a whole jar on my own.
4. cheese! i try to eat as much cheese as i can. and i try to put cheese into everything i eat. i cannot live without cheese. people are disgusted by the amount of cheese i put into my food but i just never tire of cheese.
5. i am deathly afraid of heights. if the railings are made of see-through glass i will not walk past them. even when i am taking the escalators i have the dreaded feeling that i am gonna fall.
6. erm. i have the entire collection of famous five books and i love reading the berenstain bears? ohgod so embarrassing. haha.
i have no idea if these count as wierd. i like to think of myself as normal. however thanks to sabrina, it seems i have no choice in this. i hope the 6 people i name do not hate me. hee.

celebrated it with her, hui and sabbie yesterday at settler's cafe. man, its a great place to go to. you can play board or card games while you eat, and the ambience is great. although its in a kinda deserted place. we were quite hesitant to go in at first, since we like to go to high class places and it seemed abit low class. haha. kidding! anyway, the address for the cafe was on level 2. seeing no staircase in sight, eileen spotted a ladder leaning aginst the wall and thought that we were supposed to climb that to the second story. sigh. i rest my case. our new favourite game of the moment is tabboo. i am sure sabrina's is dragon delta. -laughs- felt so taitai that day. we were taking cabs everywhere. refused to walk. haha. highly highly recommend settlers if you're just looking for a place to relax.

aand happy birthday to juliet !
celebrated it with her and the rest of the old bball team. little fan couldnt make it, her granny just turned 100! phew! headed to fisherman's village for dinner. the food and ambience there was great except that just as we finished our dinner we realised there were cockroaches! jess and ju started freaking out so we switched tables. felt so disgusted after that. eew. -shudders- anyway, had a great time with them as usual. fatty gong is no longer fat. probably because she goes clubbing and vibrating around to the music helped her to shed a few pounds. have to think of a new nickname for her. haha. learnt 2 new words from jessie. pung and stng. apparently pung was a referral to gong, meaning she looked very punk. however i heard it as pung and felt that this was cooler. haha. stng is when a young pung drives by in his car and blares the music so loudly you can hear the vibration of the music from far away going stng stng stng stng. jess feels that fisherman's village is a very stng place. -grins-
favourite and most irritable song of the moment: smack that ! haha.
being the organiser of juliet's birthday this time round (captie is still in aussie), i have to say it went pretty well (i prefer not to brood over the cockroaches issue). hope the steamboat dinner cum mahjong session gong is planning will come through as well although i hold no high expectations since it is gong organising it after all. oops. -hee-
taking my basic theory test tomorrow! i hope to god i pass or i'll never live it down.

things that go wrong when you're working in a clinic:
1. the patients bring you their urine samples when they were only supposed to bring you the tab that they were meant to pee on.
2. they insist that they have perfect eyesight and force you to do the eye test multiple times to ensure 100% accuracy.
3. they insist they do not have high blood pressure even though you have tested it three times.
4. they refuse to admit that there might be something wrong with them.
5. you are always afraid that you might contract an incurable illness working there.
6. they yell at you.
7. you yell at them.
check out the sashimi post in felix's blog. ohmygod ! i've never liked sushi but now im definitely never eating sushi again ! especially if its topped with raw fish. i could hardly believe my eyes! you've gotta see this man. its so darn cruel. i felt so traumatised. now i cant bear to look at fish.

had dinner yesterday with bigfoot xinyue, momo sabbie and hasslich hui at sakae sushi. i was slipping and sliding along as usual. everyone who knows me is aware that i am the most unbalanced person on earth when it is raining. ironically i really hate sushi. well i dont hate sushi, i just dislike it immensely. but i was overruled, so sushi it was. and i ended up eating a lot also -sigh- went to take some neoprints after that. been ages since we took a neoprint! haha. the machine sucked man. it was snapping pictures away like a 100 times a second. we were all scrambling around, and i have bruises on my knees because the short people have to be in front, of course. argh. some random pictures again:

my captie jiayan is gooone ! she's going to australia for a month for her internship. met up with the rest of my old basketball teammates and sent her off at the airport. sob. gonna miss her man. first time i've met up with captain in months and now she's off. -sigh-
jess, little fan, my 'sis' kahying and i went to have dinner at mac after sending her off. wow. i cant believe how much i've missed them. especially my prata jessie-muthu. haha. was nice to be able to chat rubbish again like old times. unfortunately our prata shop collapsed, we were forced to close business. -grins- at first we were worried that we had lost our ability to be lame, but it became apparent that jess is still very very lame. unfortunately she refuses to send me the pictures of her new boyfriend, mr ronald mcdonald.
