Happy Christmas ! celebrated with my entire family as usual. the whole clan. almost 40 of us. i cant believe my godmum gave me an adidas watch for chirstmas! good haul of presents this year. -grins- my new niece sammie is so fat! her cheeks are so huge she looks like a dugong. haha. but she's so adorable.
Happy Birthday to my piggie xinyue as well. she's 18 on christmas day!
i wanted to bake some brownies for my frens on christmas but ended up making cookies instead. slightly burnt but relatively well turned out compared to my first try. the first batch was like eating pebbles man. damn hard. i've got a new passion now (all thanks to candy).. baking! i'll try making some cupcakes next and test them out on xingzhao. it was unnecessary of him to criticise my cooking! ugh. i dont think my cookies are that bad. just a little bit more, well.. crunchy? its not that they're burnt. i just meant for them to be slightly more chewy. see?
had a late christmas dinner with strawberrina (sabrina) and hui at sakae sushi yesterday and exchanged presents. have i mentioned that ah hui is spastic and hasslich? she sprays cookie crumbs in all directions cause she eats and talks at the same time! ah hui also does not appreciate my cooking enough. she shall have no cupcakes.
note to self: prevent sabrina and amy from continually slapping my already non-existent ass. it is beginning to curve in instead of out.

candy came over to my place yesterday to *ahem* bake some brownies! trying very hard to be feminine. she wanted to surprise the boyfriend for his birthday. as usual, chokey was asleep and missing in action. so we started our first batch of brownies. all went relatively well until we started melting the hershey's chocolate. things went downhill from there and its all shawn koh shang en's fault! his recipe is so goddamn messily written and unspecific. we didnt know if we should stir the eggs in together with the chocolate before or after we took it off the fire. so we decided to try putting in the eggs with the fire still going.. without realising that the eggs were getting cooked together with the chocolate?! after quickly taking it off the fire we mixed everything together and started baking the brownies. while waiting, candy suddenly realised we didnt add the most important ingredient of all.. butter! after flipping through the recipe, it became apparent that shang en didn't add butter to his list of ingredients! argh. but we remained optimistic..
5 minutes later there was a blackout and my oven shut down?! -screams- had to wait an hour for the power to come back on, and in the meantime we baby-sat my neighbours twin babies, daphne and darius. the first batch of brownies was an utter failure (had to be thrown away - inedible). the second batch just wouldn't cook! so we left it in an extremely long time and it came out like rock cakes. however, i think it tasted pretty good, kinda like chewy sweets? heh. we also made potato salad and chokey came with the ingredients for it. candy insisted on adding so much cucumber (eew), otherwise it would've been perfect. and the most shocking thing happened.. chokey and my brother have become best friends! they keep sharing private jokes and laughing non-stop (candy and i were just like, sitting there staring at them). i cant believe it. dweebs man those two. but i think you could consider our cooking venture a success ...

went for lunch and a movie with my cousin tamara today. been such a long time since i met up with her. shopped so much.. she's crazy. she wants to like try on everything. and i can't believe she pierced her belly button?! ohmygod. but it looks so cool. haha. we sat at coffee bean freezing our asses off and talked for a long time. wow i really missed her man. haven't had a good talk with her since we were kids i think (and still singing songs using soya bean cans and jumping on the bed). -grins-

this website makes me realise i am actually rather stupid?! i am progressing extremely slowly. amy (sorry, EH-mee) is zooming through all the levels. i absolutely refuse to believe she is smarter! its just sheer dumb luck. right? riiiight?!! -shrieks-
all 3 of my babes all gone overseas. Sabrina to Japan, Hui to HongKong and Leen to i have no idea where. i can finally safely use the phrase: left all alone in this complicated world? haha. i really miss them. sob. hope they come back soon.
i am proud to say i have been going back to school to do assignments. haha. but got sidetracked yesterday when chokey came and we started watching prison break season 2! oh man. that show is just unrivaled. had dinner with the bitches candy cara and chokey, then headed over to cara's place for our favourite past time - watching chokey lose badly at every single game. this time it was mahjong. played for so many hours and she couldn't even win once! chokey if you're reading this, you ought to just give up hope. the curse will stay with you forever and you know it. haha.
went to register for driving theory test with barmy today (finally!). hope i dont fail man. but im confident i wont need to take the test four times (like Desmond). and barmy made some new "friends" there? haha! "friendly" eh barmy?
I think all my friends are damn mean. Upon hearing that i'm gonna book my driving theory test, they immediately offered to have sirens and warning signs placed on any car that i might drive. to "warn" people that i'm coming. -sigh- see? how can i not be emo?! they give new meaning to the phrase: with friends like these, who needs enemies.
Question: when you wanna buy 2 char shao bao, do you say "auntie, liang LI char shao bao" or "liang GE char shao bao"? some guy queing to buy char shao bao in front of amy and i said "auntie liang LI char shao bao please" and amy and i cracked up. sounded so wrong! dont you think? cant stop laughing everytime i think about it.

went to town with amy (or should i say eh-mee) and had lunch at coffee club.. ate so much till we felt pregnant! amy is so lousy. after walking awhile she got really tired already (actually me too). and we started having mindless conversations that made no sense and we didn't understand each other at all. and all of a sudden amy started laughing hysterically and i have no idea why?! either she is really tired or i might have to start doubting her sanity. people staring at her! she's suddenly humiliating herself so much more than usual (this makes me extremely pleased) hee. i also want to let everyone know that she is a liarrrrr! amy you should know. -evil grin-
had FO workshop from Fri till Sat. its hardly as long or tiring as FO camp but strangely i feel doubly tired. anyway it also doubled as a pyjama party. so we were all decked out in our jammies that night. looked so wierd! i cant believe i walked all over school dressed like that. tried to console myself it was a dream i'd wake up from tomorrow, to no avail. and i realised im rather chicken. cant walk two steps in the dark alone! but had a good time with my girls, really missed going to camp and hanging out with them. haha.
pyjamas party ~by the way, for those of you who think i am mean (sabrina i mean you), i think sp uses despicable tactics to trap rats and the like. they put a chicken drumstick in the middle of a peice of cardboard and surround it with super duper uber strong glue and place it in the middle of fc5! clueless people step on it and get their slippers stuck to the cardboard instead. (shall not reveal whom for sake of own health and identity protection purposes) haha. they leave the cockroaches and lizards wallowing there in the glue till they die. this is what i'd call mean man.

Saw amy today after one whole week of absence! she's been sick (ya right like anyone would buy that story) -smirks- but really missed her man. she's my mist ! wanted to go to class today, we really really did. but in the end we just couldn't bring ourselves to. so ended up having lunch at pastamania and visiting our favourite store! i'd hate to reveal what store that is but well.. it's the furniture store! i wonder what its name is. all the times we've been there ogling at the curtains and we never bothered to get the name.
love that store. its like my dream house incomplete and in peices. haha. amy and i have touched every single fabric in there and gushed over every single curtain. our favourite would be the huge book by the door that contains wallpaper cuttings! i can imagine i sound like some wierdo with a sick fetish, but i cant keep my hands off of those wallpaper cuttings. The medieval blue and gold wallpaper is my future bedroom look. -drools- amy, unfortunately, is extremely stupid. (well she always is, but today she was even more so) when i asked her if she had a pair of scissors she looked at me in horror: "are you going to cut the wallpaper cuttings from the book?!" apparently, she thought i was gonna steal them. i cant believe it. its like i'm cursed with dumb friends. -sigh- =X

Feeling damn awful right now. have to miss my bitch's bday dinner tomorrow. -sigh- hope i can make it up to her. and on top of that everyone is hounding me about the spastic children's association thingy. apparently, precious few see the humour of the logo and most (like sabrina) think i am mean. that goes for chokey as well. humpf.
and xiuhui is really so damned hasslich? i think i might develop a six-pack soon from laughing too much (yea right, i wish). but you get my meaning. i think the total count for today would be non-stop laughter for 4 hours straight? how healthy. now we can even say "spastic" in german. repeat after me! "spastisch". excellent. and if i am mean then she is downright evil. ah hui you should know what i mean. your imitations of certain people are goddamn ugly. it seems that ah hui developed a sudden liking to looking ugly. and i qoute,"i feel like being very hasslich today." and im sure by now we all know the meaning of hasslich.
refused to go home again and forced hui to let me into her house. i think she's gonna bar her door from me already but what the hell. she should know that this is what is expected of you when you've been friends for too long. haha.
