sabbie and hui are crazieee.. they came over to my place today for "visits-to-each-others-houses" part 2. they are so enthusiastic over all the kiddy stuff in my room and my "personal library". haha. see them going crazy over my box of cutsie erasers from my primary years.
xiuhui is so fascinated
food erasers! i even have a toothbrush eraser.
all the animal erasers. i feel embarrassed even showing this. haha
anyway we nua-ed here for a long time. behaved very stupidly and had a great time.
headed over to hui's after that. it was raining so heavily and i was sharing an umbrella with sabrina when she suddenly spotted an old classmate of ours and took off running - with the umbrella ! and there i was just standing dumbly in the rain feeling so abandoned until hui came and saved me. -growls at sabrina- leen joined us at hui's house and i knew, i just knew i shouldnt have watched "花样少年少女". now im totally addicted. dammit.

happy chinese new year !
im a little late. but its supposed to last for 15 days, so. i've lost count of the number of times i've lou hey-ed (how do you say it?). my cousin chris finally graced us with his presence. he's been living in boston for the last few years and refuses to come back! i guess i can understand. singapore is such a concrete jungle. no fresh air!
sab leen hui and i had our traditional visits-to-each-others-houses which we do every year. sabbie's place first, then eileen's (where we were soundly trashed by hui at card games). she won all our ang bao money dammit. she was probably feeling guilty and treated us to munchies later on. hee.
in a prior post, i mentioned the dance floor on channel5. now i wish i hadnt. eew? do people join these competitions to embarrass themselves on purpose?! of course there are a couple of good dancers here and there, but nothing to scream over. what a waste. i had quite looked forward to it. im glad they picked good hosts and judges for this show though. i was quite frightened they might use gurmit singh again. urgh. he just tries too hard. like the time he was about to announce the person eliminated from singapore idol. he went: "andddd that person is... oh let me scratch my chin! " apparently thats his idea of suspense. -deadpanned expression- everytime he speaks i flinch. and he actually thought it was funny. you could literally hear the crickets chirping in the audience's silence after he made that stupid crack. needless to say jacintha abishigenadan (i cant even spell it) is like paula abdul part 2. she's created a whole dictionary of words and sentences no one can understand. its humiliating, really. i should just stop watching all these shows, what am i doing to myself?!

final year project is finally upon us! uh-oh. no rest for the weary! attended the FYP briefing yesterday and grouped with shee-rah, ehmee and barmy. i hope we'll be able to pull this off. sounds like a load of work.
headed to hui's house cos she wanted to cook (again!) lunch for us. thank god i decided against cambell soup (again!), so we had maggee mee instead. i dont know how much an accomplishment it is to be able to cook maggee mee, but i suppose its something. im glad im a better cook than she is. heehee. -ya right- then we did the usual. nua-ed for a bit. watched "the parent trap" for the umpteenth time. played a little bit of puzzle fighter (where xiuhui lost badly although she would never admit) and then headed down to marina square for some shopping while we waited for xinyue to get off from work.
haven't seen my piggie xinyue for so long! since.. well, since the last time i saw her, whenever that was. she's so nicole ritchie. very anorexic! actually no, she's just really thin and im just jealous. haha. had dinner at coffee club where i was my usual butter-fingery self. spilt my coffee and dropped my fork twice. damn it, so embarrassing. after which xinyue (aka bigfoot) hauled us all around looking for heels. we suddenly went heels-crazy! unfortunately it is really difficult to shop for heels with xinyue because there are so few heels her size (hence, the moniker bigfoot). but it must be convenient to go into a shoe shop and just ask for "the biggest shoe size you have thanks" haha! shall say no more, dont wanna die yet. but it really isnt my fault you have humongous feet! -grins- anyway really missed her. i'd almost forgotten how insanely crazy she can be. must definitely meet up more often!

three down, two to go !
and i'll be free for the next few months ! -rubs hands together in anticipation- been cramming so much, the headaches are killing me. this is the kinda time when i wish i hadn't skipped so many lessons and weren't so stupid ! urgh.
hui's been coming over to my place lately for study sessions. she's not very helpful, usually we just ending up yelling at each other (its not my fault she likes to be hasslich). and i've been going to her place to practice puzzle fighter after our papers. de-stress session! -grins- i like to think im getting pretty good at it. hui refuses to use ken cos she thinks i cant win her if she does. but my ang ku kuehs are always biggerrr. haha. after our paper today that we mugged-so-hard-for-but-couldnt-do-anyway, i went over to hui's place again and she cooked cooked! soup for us! actually it was just campbell soup and you can just add the damn water and boil it. but she was so proud i didnt like to be the damper. -rolls my eyes- however, i wish she wouldnt scream so auntie-ly and high-pitched in public. so humiliating.
just caught the season finale of skating with celebraties and beauty and the geek! usually im unable to do so due to my darned german class. i dont understand why they have to have the class so late at night. love love loveeee lloyd and christie swanson! im so glad they won skating with celebs.
