my mum started watching 花样少年少女 and now she's a huuuuge fan. haha! she's crazy over wang dongcheng too. its so wierd to see her act like a teeny-bopper fanatic and chasing after all these taiwanese dramas (especially those with wang dongcheng in them). -grins-
i am sick again. i guess its unavoidable when you're working in a clinic and people cough all over you. but this clinic has a wider job scope than the one i used to work in. i have to do everything from ECGs to pouring, packaging and dispensing medicine! on my first day of work, my colleague gave me a 6-page long list of medications and asked me to memorise it. holy cow? i almost wanted to quit on the spot! knowing my extremely deteriorated memory, i panicked. how the hell was i supposed to remember all that medication?! but after a few days it gets kinda routine. basically its the doctor's handwriting thats the killer. man! it looks like a black blob on the paper. took me damn long to get used to the doc's handwriting. and now, just when i've gotten the hang of things, he's off on leave and the new doctor has handwriting that looks like he dislocated his wrist and broke every bone in every finger. totally illegible! argh.
anyway, i had to assist him when he had to put in some stitches for this construction worker. eew? the finger looked like it was sliced in half! man, it was so gross and the poor construction worker was in some serious pain. -shudders- luckily i have a relatively strong stomach. as long as there are no worms involved, i believe i can act real professional, like i see all this everyday. haha.
but its fun when the clinic isnt too crowded. my colleagues are all really nice people. abit wierd, but wierdness is what i appreciate most in a person. on the plus side, i can self-medicate when im sick. haha.
